Honolulu Waldorf School’s Summer Fun Assistant teaching position is ideal for someone who loves children, enjoys working with parents, and is committed to working with colleagues.
We are looking for people who are able to be attentive and nurturing with children and maintain a clean, relaxed, friendly, and safe environment, while also planning activities and crafts that align with the school culture and Waldorf philosophy. All staff members are expected to uphold and model the values and philosophy of a Waldorf school.
The position requires:
- Experience implementing curriculum for children in Grades 1-3, or 4-6
- The ability to manage the health and safety of a group of 18 children with the help of one assistant
- The ability to work closely with colleagues
- Presence, patience, and a positive problem-solving attitude
- A 40-hour work week – Temporary Full-Time Employment
- Work authorization: United States (required)
