Honolulu Waldorf School seeks an early childhood classroom aide. We are looking for a person who loves children and is able to be attentive and nurturing. The key responsibilities for this position include: assisting and supporting the Lead Teacher with lessons, games, and activities, preparing snacks, supervising and caring for children, taking initiative in engaging the children in activities and play that are healthy and appropriate, and maintaining a clean, relaxed, friendly, and safe environment. Honolulu Waldorf School is a small school, so teamwork, collaboration, and a positive ready-to-help attitude are essential. All faculty are also expected to uphold and model the values and philosophy of a Waldorf school.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children in a school or childcare environment
  • TB Test and Background Check (required)
  • United States work authorization (required)
  • Waldorf Teaching knowledge & Early Childhood development

The Honolulu Waldorf School is an established coeducational, independent school serving 185 students from Early Childhood through High School.
