Life at Waldorf
Athletics
At the Honolulu Waldorf School, we value student participation in athletics and believe it to be an important part of their adolescent development. We encourage students in grades 7-12 to participate in at least one sport to expand their experiences as human beings. Our community’s overwhelming support of athletics is obvious with over 43% of our eligible student-body participating in at least one sport.

The Honolulu Waldorf School Athletic Department is proud to offer an extensive variety of sports for our students in grades 7-12. We are a member of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH), which consists of 25 independent schools across the island of Oahu. There is something offered for every student to reach his or her personal potential enriching their experience at our school.

Whether competing as a Waldorf team, a combined team with other ILH schools, or a Pac-Five team, students will create friendships that last a lifetime. Through their participation in sports, students learn important teambuilding skills and increase personal fitness, preparing them for a healthy adulthood.
